Research law firms, attend law fairs, read glossy brochures, apply for Xmas vacation schemes; non-law students apply for GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law)

Attend vacation scheme; alternatively, relax, eat turkey and open presents

Apply for Easter vacation schemes

Apply for summer vacation schemes

Attend vacation scheme, eat too many Easter eggs

Apply for training contracts and attend interviews

Continue to apply for training contracts and attend interviews. Attend vacation scheme or take fascinating trips abroad to talk about at interview – more interesting than doing three vacation schemes back to back

Start final year of degree (law students)/ start GDL (non-law students). Make most of lie-ins, watching ‘Neighbours’, and not wearing a suit.
